Teacher Appreciation Week Profile: Christine Frazier

May 1st-5th was Teacher Appreciation Week! In honor of all the hard work that our teachers do day-in and day-out we wanted to profile several of our awesome teachers; taking a look at how and why they chose Immanuel to call home.

Christine Frazier is one of two 3rd Grade Teachers here at ICS. She is an Alumnus of Mankato West High School in Mankato, Minnesota and attended Minnesota State University, attaining a degree in Elementary Education. She also attended Baptist Bible College.

Frazier has worked at ICS for 30 years now. Her arrival at ICS was fairly straightforward, she simply walked in the front door looking to fill out an application. What made her stay at ICS? “It is the best place I could [have] ever imagined to work at because I knew God is always first here at Immanuel and the love of God is shown through the lives of the faculty and staff, students, and the precious parents.” Her favorite memory at ICS is the gym dedication to her husband, the late great Dave Frazier.

Education was not always in the cards for Frazier, as she had plans to attain a Nursing degree, however God lead her to Education.

Thank you Christine Frazier for being a part of our ICS Family, your hard work as an educator is truly appreciated!
