We like to say “Immanuel is Family” a lot. Tonight we proved it.
Most of the east side of El Paso saw strong rains the likes of which we haven’t seen in years. Sadly, Immanuel Church and Christian School were not spared. Serious flooding occurred down our main hallway, library, cafeteria, and some slight gym flooding, however most of the flooding was contained to the first floor. Church members, faculty & staff, alumni, students, friends, and family all jumped into action, bringing mops, buckets, brooms, and industrial floor cleaners to help contain as much of the water as possible. With their help and a lot of prayer we are happy to say that all of the water is off the floor of our building. THANK YOU to everyone who showed up (and braved serious flooding on El Paso roads) to help make cleanup at Immanuel a bit easier. You are all a true blessing.
We have several events scheduled for Immanuel Christian School this week. We will be making an announcement concerning these events and the accessibility of this school soon.
For now though, we once again want to say thank you to everyone who came out and helped tonight. We are blessed to call you FAMILY.
