Immanuel Christian School Class of 2022 Graduation



The ICS Class of 2022 graduated on the afternoon of Saturday, May 21st. Danytza Canales opened with the singing of the National Anthem while Sharee Epperson gave the Senior Salute. Elementary Principal Linda Johnson, attending her last ICS Graduation as an ICS Staff Member, had the honor of introducing our Salutatorian Patricia Garcia.

Head of School and Secondary Principal John Davis had the honor of introducing the Valedictorian for the ICS Class of 2022, Santiago Gabriel Nieto Valdez.

Every year, ICS has been blessed and honored to give scholarships to several of our graduates, who have represented ICS and Christ well. Danny Rico presented 5 members of the Class of 2022 on behalf of Immanuel Church with the Peggy Mancil Scholarship. Andre Valenzuela, Arianna Seyffert, Dominic Zavala, Myriam Delgado, and Ryan Peake each received a Peggy Mancil Scholarship from Immanuel Church. Next, scholarships were given to the Class of 2022 Distinguished Warriors, Sarahi Campos, Denise Cardona, Patricia Garcia, and Arianna Seyffert. Linda Johnson went on to thank the O’Leary family and present the Desert View Homes Scholarship to Salutatorian Patricia Garcia and Valedictorian Santiago Nieto. Counselor Martha Rojas presented our Partners in Education Scholarships to Landon Rubi, Patricia Garcia, Sarahi Campos, Fidel Elkabchi, and Malachi Cushion. SALT Scholarships are made possible by our awesome parent-volunteers and are awarded to students excelling in the area of Community Service. These scholarships were awarded to Sarahi Campos (248.5 hours of community service), Ryan Peake (201 hours of community service), Dominic Zavala (197.5 hours of community service), Landon Rubi (187 hours of community service), and Arianna Seyffert (179 hours of community service). Lastly, Athletic Director Robert Rubi presented two Golden Warrior Athletic Scholarships to Sarahi Campos and Landon Rubi. Olivia and Danny Rico performed a special rendition of John Mayer’s “Stop This Train” before diplomas were presented. Head of School John Davis closed the ceremony and presented the Class of 2022, as the graduates threw their caps into the air while Earth, Wind, & Fire’s “September” played over the sound system. Congratulations to the ICS Class of 2022, Once a Warrior, Always a Warrior!
