Strategic School Growth
October 5, 2020
One of my favorite Scriptures is found in Isaiah 43:19 which says, Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. This Scripture applies today because God is doing a new thing at Immanuel Christian School. Last February, ICS committed to a Strategic Growth Plan. Why is this important?
One year ago, ICS celebrated its 50th Anniversary – this is an incredible achievement! But it’s important that we not rest on what we’ve accomplished. Education has changed significantly and is still changing, especially with the COVID crisis. We are educating children now for jobs that have not even been created yet. We have a responsibility and commitment to partner with you and provide the best education we can to educate our students academically, spiritually, emotionally, socially, and physically.
Our Strategic Growth Plan is designed to grow enrollment, academic quality, economic sustainability, faculty engagement, and board leadership so that we can accomplish this commitment we have made to you. We are using a data-driven process for planning so that we can measure our success. This began with a Leadership Retreat, Staff Survey, and several conversations with staff members, students, and parents to give us a baseline to start this process.
We have taken this data and developed three Strategic Initiatives to guide us in this process of the Strategic Growth Plan. These include Faculty Quality, Financial Sustainability, and Cultural Experiences. Be on the lookout for more information regarding our Strategic Growth Plan.
We are blessed to partner with you in this process and we look forward to growing with you through this Strategic Growth Plan. Please know that my door is always open!
All for God’s Glory,
