Strategic Planning: Beginning tomorrow through March 2, I will be presenting a series of articles answering five questions to create long-term financial sustainability success for our school.
1. Why do we exist?
2. What must we do to fulfill our purpose?
3. What values and commitments will shape our actions?
4. What do we hope to accomplish in the lives of our students? What is our desired impact?
5. What are our foundational theological and philosophical beliefs?
Annual Giving Campaign: Thank you for your giving this year to meet our two-year goal of playground turf in the back parking lot! The area is almost prepared and the turf has been ordered. Once the turf arrives, it will take approximately one week to finish this project.
We are still collecting money for the Annual Giving Campaign. All funds collected from this point forward this year will be designated for STEAM initiatives. Thank you for your faithfulness!
Water Damage: We are waiting on the adjuster from the church’s insurance company to give approval to move forward with the construction in the kindergarten wing. Thank you for your patience in the interim.
Safety: This past week, we have experienced a school shooting in Florida and two separate threats in El Paso public schools. Please know that ICS has procedures in place to prevent entry during the school day and we practice lockdown drills on a regular basis. If we were to have a live situation, we also have procedures in place to move our students to an alternate location, and we have communication protocol for contacting our families. We are prepared with procedures, we will continue to practice those procedures, and we will pray daily for God’s protection on our campus.
Have an amazing day. Thank you for the opportunity to partner with you in the education of your children – we are blessed!
